From Merriam Webster Online:
Main Entry: fear Function: noun 1: an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger
I can't think of another word that more accurately sums up the Democratic party right now. Everything they say, every decision made, every action taken is considered through a prism of fear. "What will the Republican's do?" "How will this play in the sticks?" "What are my consultants going to say?" "Am I going to catch heat for saying or doing this thing?"
Fear is one of the strongest emotions that humans possess. It's perfectly understandable for people to be fearful when they take action. It's simply human nature. However, a lack of, or resistance to fear is one of the key ingredients to making a great leader.
